Hi! I'm Rita.
I am the founder and interior stylist at Eilzabeth & Grace Design. As a wife, and a mother to three amazing children, I understand family life and how busy it can be. Originally from Nova Scotia, I relocated to Alberta several years ago.
I hold a Certificate in Interior Decorating from Mount Royal University, accredited by the Canadian Decorators Association (CDEAC). Before founding Elizabeth & Grace Design, I served as an RCMP officer for 15 years, during which I also completed real estate courses through the Real Estate Council of Alberta. My academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from St. Francis Xavier University and a Master's of Arts from the University of Windsor. Interestingly, I’m one of the few mothers and shift workers who doesn’t drink coffee; I prefer tea with two milk, likely a nod to my Cape Breton heritage!
I am a breast cancer survivor, and like many who have faced cancer, it has changed the way I approach life. I’ve reached a stage where I truly understand the significance of loving what you do and pursuing your passions! I am dedicated to creating exceptional designs in every space, and I bring that passion and enthusiasm to each of my projects.
I excel at connecting with people and assisting them with their design challenges. I embrace challenges and aim to create a comfortable atmosphere with my friendly and practical approach. Whether you prefer to be involved in every detail of the design process or just want to enjoy the final reveal, I'm here to help you achieve the "wow" factor you've been longing for.
